Description: WSGS publications and other sources were used to amass data for more than 3,000 sites currently depicted on the map, focusing on sample locations. Data include coal, aggregates, uranium, metals, and other minerals, specifically addressing analyses for mineral commodities deemed critical to U.S. economic and national security in 2018. Locations of chemical analyses are shown in this layer. Not all commodities and counties were fully compiled; these data are an incomplete representation of samples in Wyoming.
