Description: The bedrock geologic map of the South Pass, Wyoming 1:100,000 quadrangle was developed to provide regional scale geologic mapping for city and county planning, industrial and mineral development, and general public use. This dataset is a conversion of previously published map data to conform to GeMS (Geologic Map Schema)--a standard format for the digital publication of geologic maps--and is GeMS Level 3 compliant. The objective of the data conversion is to reproduce the original published mapping with little to no added interpretation.
