</abstract>
<purpose>
Yellowstone Lake has been the subject of much research in
recent years. The management of non-native lake trout (Salvelinus
namaycush), discovery of deep water hydrothermal features, and
submerged cultural resource inventories demanded a more accurate
bathymetric map of the lake.
