Drainage channels and topographic depressions in Pocket Basin. The data in this layer were downloaded in March, 2022 from the Database for the Geologic Map of Pocket Basin, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This layer is a combination of the GeologicLines and DrainageChannels feature classes in the original dataset. These two feature classes were combined for display purposes on the interactive Geology of Yellowstone Map.

Data were minimally modified as necessary (e.g. clipped to spatial extent, desired features extracted, projected to a different coordinate system, attribute fields renamed and/or added, symbolized) by the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) in March, 2022 for simplified display on the interactive Geology of Yellowstone Map. The WSGS has not formally reviewed or quality-controlled these data; users are encouraged to consult the original data source.

Churchill, D.M., Muffler, L.J.P., and Robinson, J.E. 2021, Database for the Geologic Map of Pocket Basin, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/P92A9FXN.

" }
