This dataset encompasses Precambrian through Eocene formations, with a focus on established and potential oil and gas reservoirs. Contour maps of potential and emerging continuous reservoirs illustrate regional trends in formation depth and thickness. <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This web service/layer contains a Powder River Basin </SPAN><SPAN>Pool Creek Member of Carlile Shale thickness contour raster. Formation thickness was calculated from well subsurface interpretations by differencing the appropriate stratigraphic horizons.
